At CS Pilates, we offer a total body conditioning program using specialized Pilates apparatus for men and women of all ages and fitness levels. At the CS Pilates Studio, we will guide you through each exercise, focusing on your form and technique and making modifications when needed. The following are classes and personal training sessions offered at CS Pilates:
"Intro to Pilates": All beginners at CS Pilates start with at LEAST 2 Introduction to Pilates private or small group sessions. The instructor will help you with your specific needs. You will learn basic fundamentals, such as breathing and proper body alignment, and experience a few basic beginning exercises on the Pilates apparatus and Mat. After at least 2 sessions, you may choose to continue with a few more Intro sessions or Private one on one sessions or join in on a small "Pilates Basics" Group Class. Your Instructor will let you know what will be best for your health and physical needs. Please call us to sign up for your Intro to Pilates Sessions. 509-965-2346. Your FIRST INTRO session is FREE! Private Sessions: Solo, Duet or Semi-Private The Solo is ideal for the individual who is in chronic pain, recovering from surgery/injury or prefers privacy. The Duet is a fun way to work out with a friend or family member! The Semi-Private is for 3-4 people. All three are also recommended for people who are new to Pilates. 60 or 30 minute sessions available
Pilates Basics: A Pilates class for those who have back pain, neck pain, knee pain, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Arthritis, or who are overweight or recovering from an injury. This class is also for the newer, beginner client learning the Basic Pilates exercises. Each Reformer exercise prepares your body and mind for each succeeding exercise - warming your muscles, stimulating your mind and body, coordinating your breathing, and training your muscles to "fire" in the correct sequence. This class may include a small amount of Mat or Tower work. This class moves at a slower pace with more stretching and focus on the Pilates Principles (Breathe, concentrate, center, control, move with precision and flow). Pilates Flow: Intermediate and some advanced exercises on the Reformer and Tower are learned. This class moves at a faster pace with FLOW. (Previously a Pilates 2 or Pilates 3 class).
Power Pilates: Faster paced ADVANCED group class that includes Reformer, Tower, Mat, and Aerobic work. For the person looking to challenge their mind and body with deep and overall conditioning. Requirements: Healthy back, knees, wrists, and neck. Must be able to kneel or stand on the Reformer with the carriage moving. Instructor permission for this class. Please ask before signing up..
Community Pilates: This Community Pilates class is for anyone interested in learning the Pilates exercises or perfecting their technique. A great class for someone new who has heard about Pilates but just has not given it a try! We offer classes for High School and College athletes/students and also classes for all the rest of us! Payment is by donation only.
Cardio Pilates and Nia: We hope to offer Cardio Pilates and Nia workshops from time to time.
I'm new, what do I do? Please call, email, or stop in to schedule your "Intro to Pilates" private sessions. We encourage all of our clients to experience Pilates, Yoga, Nia, aerobics, dance and massage two to three times each week to help you reach your goals for a healthy core and healthy life.
